Huge congratulations go out to Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick and his wife, Lydia Hearst, on the birth of their daughter. Hardwick shared a beautiful photo via Instagram to announce that baby Dimity Facente Hearst-Hardwick and her mother are doing well.

Hardwick praised his wife, stating, “I am over the moon with love for both of them.”

Their child’s due date was Feb. 9, but as with many births, things don’t always go as scheduled. The happy news is that she is born, and mama and baby are doing well.

With his talk show Talking Dead, Harwick is a huge part of TWD Family.

Talking Dead premiered on October 16, 2011. This airing followed the season premiere of Walking Dead’s second season. The series initially started as a 30-minute segment but was expanded to 60 minutes by the season three mid-season of Walking Dead. Thirty minutes just wasn’t enough time to discuss the episodes.

The series features an”In Memoriam” segment paying tribute to those fallen during the episode and online polls, trivia, BTS footage, questions from fans, and special guests. When the special guests are announced, fans anxiously wait to see if the special guest is the actor whose character will be killed in the episode. Often, a special mystery guest will be announced, and fans know this usually indicates a significant death in the episode.

Many special guests aren’t actors in the series but superfans like Yvette Nicole Brown, Dave Navarro, Kevin Smith, Keegan-Michael Key, Slash, Ken Jeong, Drew Scott and many others. It is fascinating to get an outsider’s view of the episodes.

During the pandemic, the series aired via zoom, and although it wasn’t quite the same, it was great that the creators of this series pressed on to give fans the content they wanted.
