The Walking Dead season 11 is not coming to Netflix in February 2022

Most fans of The Walking Dead watch the episodes as they air on AMC. This allows them to live tweet and enough the episodes with like-minded fans. But, this isn’t an option for many, so they look to other sources to watch. For many, Netflix is the only outlet they have access to to watch the series. The big question is, when will season 11 of The Walking Dead come to Netflix?

Currently, the streamer has ten seasons of the series available. Many fans enjoy watching and rewatching the series as the earlier seasons are generally the favorites. But fans who are anxious to see what happens in the final season and have yet to view the first eight episodes are longing for those to be released.

Many viewers have the option to subscribe to AMC+, the AMC network streaming service that airs all three of The Walking Dead universe series. This not only allows fans to watch at their convince, commercial-free, but they can watch the new episodes one week earlier than the AMC released.

Is The Walking Dead season 11 on Netflix?

Sadly, season 11 is not currently available on Netflix. And, the even sadder news is that it most likely won’t come until after the final episode airs on AMC.

The general rule is that AMC would release the entire season to Netflix after the whole season aired. To give you an example, the 22 episodes of season 10 were released on Netflix on July 26, 2021, and the new season didn’t air on AMC until about a month later, on August 22, 2021. The eleventh season is a bit tricky as there is no season 12 to gauge by.

To give you another timeline, the final episode of season 10 aired on AMC on April 4, 2021. This shows that Netflix didn’t release this season for three months after the finale episode aired.

Basically, the season 11 release date on Netflix is up in the air as there has been no release date for the third and final segment of the final season.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC on February 20 and AMC+ on February 13.
