The Walking Dead or Super Bowl half time show? Why not both?
By Renee Hansen
The Walking Dead won’t air an episode this weekend, so you will be able to watch Super Bowl LVI this Sunday that will pit the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals against one another. Many only tune in for the commercials and the halftime show that will feature Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar.
But…that’s not all!
Be sure to follow The Walking Dead on Facebook or Twitter to see a special live stream of the opening minutes of the beginning of season 11B.
Many viewers will have already watched the episode via AMC+, but how amazing to see the live stream during the Super Bowl Half-Time Show?
The Walking Dead season 11
Showrunner Angela Kang in an interview with Entertainment Weekly has stated that the next episode, “No Other Way,” will pick up where the previous episode concluded.
The goal of Maggie, Daryl, Negan, Gabriel and Elijah is to get the food and supplies from Meridian and get it back to Alexandria. If Reapers have to die to accomplish this, they will.
Alexandria is still fighting the storm, and things were bleak when the episode closed. Kang also shared that these storylines are simultaneously building to something.
We don’t know what will happen in the next 16 episodes, but it will be emotional and heartbreaking as each episode brings us closer to the end of this series that has been a considerable part of our lives for so long.
The highly anticipated return of The Walking Dead Season 11 Part 2 premieres Sunday, February 20 at 9:00 pm ET/8c with new episodes available one week early on AMC+, beginning with the premiere episode on Sunday, February 13.
