The Walking Dead is an action-packed series with many stunts and fight scenes. It is probably not uncommon for actors and stunts people to get bumps and bruises on occasion. One time, Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes, broke Negan’s (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) nose.

In 2018, Morgan was a guest on The Howard Stern Show and shared that during a scene in the episode titled “How It’s Gotta Be,” Lincoln punched him and broke his nose. The scene took place in Rick’s house in Alexandria when Negan ambushed Rick, and they started throwing punches.

It is common knowledge that Andrew Lincoln is a focused actor who has his own methods of getting into character. You can see his intensity in the finished product. But, this time, Morgan took the brunt of it. It was just a hairline fracture, so luckily no permanent damage. Being the tough guy that he is, Morgan said they just popped it back into place and continued filming.

You can see the clip from the show below.

The Walking Dead season 11 – Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan

As the final season is upon us, the questions that come up are what will happen to this or that character. Negan is one of those who will also keep you guessing. He is a wild card and will pull together for the greater good, which he has proved repeatedly, but he will also take his own path if needed.

In the official trailer for season 11B, it appears that Negan will go his separate ways, assumably after the Reaper’s storyline is over. He appears in the woods with a newcomer, so it will be interesting to see who this person is.

There have been talks about a Negan spin-off that would ensure his survival until the end of the series. But, nothing official has been announced, so only time will tell Negan’s fate in the final season.
