Is The Walking Dead on AMC tonight? (February 20, 2022)

Fans of The Walking Dead have been counting down the days until a new episode premieres on AMC. This season is the final for the series, and many storylines still need to be resolved before the final episode airs.

Fans are expecting an epic ending to the long-running series and are hoping to see the reappearance of older characters who have been missing from the series. Rick Grimes and Michonne are two characters fans feel need to make an appearance, but many doubt this will happen. Most likely, the reunion of these two characters will occur during The Walking Dead movies.

Often there have been flashbacks or hallucinations featuring characters who died earlier in the series. Will the final season show something like this as well? Fans would love to see this!

Does a new episode of The Walking Dead air tonight?

YES! Fans can rejoice as the first episode of season 11B will air on AMC tonight at 9 p.m. ET. The episode is titled “No Other Way,” and the synopsis reads:

"Hellfire rains down on those at Meridian as every fight with the Reapers proves to be a brutal battle. At home in Alexandria, the violent rainstorm rages on as walkers continue to pour in, threatening everyone’s safety, including Judith and Gracie."

This episode will start where the previous one ended with the Reapers war and Alexandria battling the storm. Both of these stories left viewers on a cliffhanger and have been waiting for months to find out what happens next.

The second part of the final season will focus heavily on the Commonwealth and the acclamation of many characters into this community. Are things as good as they seem on the surface? Or is the community too good to be true?
