The Walking Dead: Is Rick Grimes back?

Fans of The Walking Dead series are dreading the final episode that will air sometime in 2022. They are also worried that the survivors’ leader, Rick Grimes, won’t appear in the final season. But, Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick, was seen in Atlanta on Feb. 19.

Lincoln and his pal Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon on the series, dined in Atlanta at Nagomiya sushi restaurant. The post was shared by @kingsuh1018, who stated that being in the restaurant business allows him to meet some incredible people.

This could mean Lincoln is back to film for the final season, as filming is coming close to completion, or he could be there to start filming the long-promised Walking Dead movies.

Rick Grimes sacrificed himself in season nine when they blew up the bridge. But, only a handful of the characters know that he survived. Michonne left in search of him when she discovered he survived. Nothing would make fans happier than to see these two return, even for a minute in the final season of the series.

The movies will feature Rick and other characters from the series, and during the summer of 2021, there was talk about the movies being developed. If the writing has finally been completed for the first movie, filming could realistically start soon after the series wraps.

It is exciting to learn that Lincoln is back in the US and, more specifically, Georgia. There have been many conversations with creators about the possibility of Lincoln’s return, and it’s been said the door would always be open to this possibility.
