The Walking Dead episode “Claimed” aired on February 23, 2014. This episode is the eleventh of season four, written by Nichole Beattie & Seth Hoffman and directed by Seith Mann.

This episode picks up where the previous episode left off. Tara and unconscious Glenn were met by Abraham, Rosita and Eugene. This episode sees the pair in the back of the military truck driven by Abraham. Tara writes down each road and turn they make as she is very uncertain about what is going on.

When Glenn wakes up, he isn’t happy that he has been driven three hours away from where he believes Maggie is. He gets into a fight with Abraham, and when a small group of walkers comes out of the woods and fields, they all work together to get rid of them. But, the truck’s gas tank was hit by Eugene when he tried to shoot some of the walkers.

Glenn and Tara walk in the direction of the bus, the same bus he last saw Maggie in at the prison. Abraham and the others follow.

The Walking Dead season 4

We saw a happy reunion between Michonne, Rick, and Carl in the previous episode. This episode shows Michonne trying to convince Rick to take it easy while she and Carl scavenge for supplies.

Just when Rick thinks he has some downtime to recover from his injuries, the house he is resting in is overrun by a group we will later learn is the Claimers. This group is loud and ruthless, as viewers see when Len kills another one in the group named Tony as they argue over who would get the bed.

Rick watches from under said bed and tries to escape once Len is asleep. He encounters Lou, and they fight until Rick gets the upper hand and kills him. Rick then escapes out the window.

Meanwhile, Michonne and Carl are playing a game of “clear the room, get an answer to a question.” Carl discovers that Michonne had a three-year-old son, Andre Anthony.

Earlier in the episode, Carl jokes and laughs until he forgets and mentions Judith, whom he thinks was killed at the prison. So, when Michonne comes into a bedroom with a whole family dead, she is shaken but lies to Carl as not to upset him again. He then says that maybe Andrea and Judith are somewhere together.

They leave the house and head back to get Rick and find him outside as he directs them away from the house. As they walk down the train tracks, they see a sign ‘”Sanctuary for all. Community for all. Those who arrive, survive. Terminus.”‘
