Talking Dead guests for February 27, 2022

The next episode of Talking Dead will air on AMC immediately following The Walking Dead season 11, episode 10, “New Haunts.”  There will be much to discuss regarding this episode as some of the residents of Alexandria acclimate to life in the Commonwealth.

The synopsis of “New Haunts” tells us that weeks have passed since some of the Alexandrians arrived at the Commonwealth. This episode will reveal who took Lance Hornsby’s offer of relocating to his community. The adults will have been assigned to their new jobs, and the children will enjoy the Halloween celebration, something they have never experienced.

The teaser for the episode shows that Governor Milton will be introduced and that Carol is working in a bakery, but she is always watching. Daryl and Rosita seem to be doing some work with Mercer in the military.

Talking Dead guests

This week Talking Dead will have a great lineup of guests, Michael James Shaw, who portrays Mercer, Teo Rapp-Olsson, who plays Sebastian, and superfan Yvette Nicole Brown.

Mercer and Sebastian are featured in this episode, so it will be very insightful to see what these actors share regarding their characters. Mercer is the leader of the Commonwealth military, and Sebastian is the son of Governor Milton.

So far, Mercer has appeared as a formidable military presence who can keep his cool during heated situations. We did learn that he was a graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point. It will be exciting to see how closely his series story will mirror his comic tale.

We have seen enough of Sebastian to learn that he is a spoiled individual who thinks highly of himself and his rank in the class system of the Commonwealth. He will no doubt cause trouble, and he is another character that it will be interesting to see how closely the story will follow the comic.
