The Walking Dead season 11 episode 10 MVP New Haunts
By Renee Hansen
The tenth episode of season 11 of The Walking Dead wasn’t an action-packed one but it gave viewers some character development for some of the newer characters. And, the Halloween event was a lot of fun to see. Especially seeing the Alexandria children experience things for the first time.
Each week Undead Walking chooses an MVP for the episode and this doesn’t always mean someone who has an amazing kill or overly heroic event, it could be someone behind the scenes doing something selfless.
Although Daryl did a great job setting Sebastian up for a win, another character went above and behind for a friend.
THE MVP FOR NEW HAUNTS IS – CAROL
The Walking Dead Carol
This week’s episode shows Carol in the role she wants everyone at the Commonwealth to see. A sweet baker who does what she is told with a smile on her face. But, fans of the series know that where Carol is concerned, there is always more than meets the eye.
She breaks into the hospital records to find out exactly how Ezekiel is doing healthwise, as it is obvious he wasn’t being straight with her. She discovered that he is way down on the waitlist for surgery. She discusses this with Dr. Tomi Okumura, Yumiko’s brother, who has been taken from his quiet life as a baker and placed at the hospital as a doctor. He explains that Ezekiel’s only hope is the surgery, but since he is so far down on the waitlist he may never receive the surgery in time.
The always observant Carol notices that Lance Hornsby, Governor Milton’s deputy, is having a hard time impressing his boss. Carol puts her resourcefulness to use and aids Hornsby and when he asks what she wants from him, she explains she wants her friend moved to the top of the surgery list. He states that this is a big ask.
At the end of the episode, Carol asks what is next, willing to do whatever it will take to ensure Ezekiel will get the surgery he needs to save his life.
Bravo Carol! Her actions will hopefully save the King!
