AMC aired The Walking Dead episode “New Haunts” on Sunday, February 27. This article contains spoilers for this episode, so read with care if you haven’t watched this episode yet.

The focus of this episode was the Commonwealth and many of the Alexandria residents being transplanted into this community. Viewers got a look into what jobs each person has been assigned. Per Commonwealth design, they are given jobs similar to what they had before the outbreak. Since this community is class-based, only one of our survivors has been given an upper-class job, and that is Yumiko, who was a lawyer.

During this episode, one character stood out not only for his actions during the masquerade ball but because he looked familiar.

The Walking Dead Tyler Davis

Viewers aren’t the only ones who recognize the face of the waiter. During the over-the-top masquerade ball that was thrown by the staff of Governor Pamela Milton (Laila Robins), Yumiko recognized him first, and Princess informed her that he was the guy who she beat up on the train car in the episode “Splinter.”

Trooper Tyler Davis (Cameron Roberts) was obviously demoted after he couldn’t control his captive. He tells the crowd at the ball, “One mistake, and I lost everything.” After holding Milton’s assistant “Max” (Margot Bingham) at knifepoint, he escapes, and Daryl finds and captures him, then allows Sebastian to take the credit for it.

When Davis is presented to Milton and her deputy Lance Hornsby (Josh Hamilton), he tells them there is a resistance to Commonwealth over 1000 members strong. This is news to Milton, and she tells Hornsby to find out if this is true.

At the end of the episode, Trooper Rosita Espinosa helps raid Davis’ home and discovers a secret room with evidence of resistance to the Commonwealth. Surely, Davis isn’t the mastermind; is there a revolution in the community’s future? If so, who is in charge?
