The Walking Dead season 3 behind the scenes photos

Season 3 of The Walking Dead ranks up there with the best seasons of the series. Things were still relatively small with only the prison and Woodbury as communities, so it was more intimate. As the series is in its final season, it is fun to look back at the previous season and remember. This article contains many great BTS photos of season 3.
The third season consisted of 16 episodes that aired from October 14, 2012, through March 31, 2013. This season picks up about eight months after Rick killed Shane, and walkers overran the Greene family farm. Lori is very pregnant at this point, and finding a permanent home is vital for all of them.
Merle and Morgan return this season, and Andrea and her savior Michonne will venture to a new community called Woodbury run by the Governor. Sadly, Merle gets killed in this season, but he does it by trying to redeem himself and rid the world of the Governor. Poor Daryl had to put down his reanimated brother in an emotional scene towards the end of the season.
The Walking Dead season 3
When they discover the prison, it seems too good to be true. A giant place with plenty of room for everyone surrounded by fences. Seems like the perfect setup.
This season saw the horrible death of Lori Grimes while trying to deliver baby Judith. It was awful to watch as she allowed Maggie to perform a c-section to ensure her daughter made it into the world. It was gut-wrenching to know Carl had to shoot his mother in the head so she wouldn’t turn.
This episode featured many deaths, including all of the prisoners who were discovered trapped inside the prison since the outbreak. Big Tiny (Theodus Crane), Tomas (Nick Gomez), Oscar (Vincent Ward), Andrew (Markice Moore) and Axel (Lew Temple). The courageous T-Dog (IronE Singleton) died while sacrificing himself so Carol (Melissa McBride) could escape. Milton (Dallas Roberts)and Andrea (Laurie Holden) would also die at Woodbury, two deaths coordinated by The Governor.
