The Walking Dead: When will we see Negan again?

The Walking Dead series has seen many characters walk off into the sunset and never be seen again. Sometimes with an explanation, but often we just never hear of them again.

Michonne left in search of her love and the leader of our survivors Rick Grimes. This was an understandable reason to go. But, what about Heath, Eduardo, Cal, and so many others we’ve never heard another peep about? It would be nice to see something of these characters instead of a vague explanation during an interview.

But, what about Negan? When will we see him again?

Negan decides to exile himself from the group before Maggie does what she was always going to do, kill Negan. This was a smart move as he just witnessed her do this same thing with the Reapers. She made a deal and broke it by killing them all except for Leah, but she gave it a good effort to end her life as well.

What would make Negan think that she will honor their agreement? Nothing.

But, this isn’t the last we will see of this character. He is seen in the trailers and teasers in environments and with people we have yet to see in season 11B.

Not only that but there have been enough spoiler BTS photos floating around on social media to show Jeffrey Dean Morgan was filming recently. And, showrunner Angela Kang told TV Line:

"“It is safe to say we have not seen the last of Negan.” In fact, his split from the core crew in the Season 11B premiere was “not meant to be a cliffhanger, like, ‘Has he left the show?’” she added. “It’s more a cliffhanger of, ‘Where will we see him next?’”"

What does this mean for Negan? Will he find a new group? Team up with Leah?

There are many speculations and fan theories about where he is and what it will look like when we see him again.  Kang has stated that there are other groups our survivors will encounter. Perhaps he will find someone that leads him to the CRM and Rick!

Whatever the case, we will see Negan again and hopefully, he isn’t out in the woods alone like his comic book counterpart.
