The Walking Dead NFT released today by Orange Comet
By Renee Hansen
About a month ago, AMC networks and Orange Comet announced they were partnering to bring the fandom NFTs to commemorate the final season of The Walking Dead. The fandom is split on the announcement; some were very excited others were not interested at all.
NFTs or Non-fungible tokens are digital assets that represent real-world objects. They can range from art to music to in-game items and videos.
Often purchased via cryptocurrency, NFTs are nothing new; Kevin McCoy and Anil Dash created the first known NFT in May 2014. Recently NFTs have been pushed into the mainstream as a way to buy and sell artwork.
