Tales of the Walking Dead cast, filming updates and more

The Walking Dead universe has been making headlines with all the new announcements. These include filming updates for Tales of the Walking Dead that will be released in the summer of 2022 and a fifth spinoff series in 2023.
In addition to the untitled Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) spinoff, AMC has announced that Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) will have a spinoff. Isle of the Dead was recently announced to the shock of the fandom. This duo is an odd pairing of characters that many fans aren’t happy with.
So, if you are keeping track, you can put those four names down as survivors of the flagship series.
Tales of the Walking Dead
This week showrunner Channing Powell shared some filming updates for Tales of the Walking Dead. The first season of this anthology series will consist of six episodes.
The fourth episode is currently being filmed and is directed by Deborah Kampmeier.

That is all of the casting announcements as of right now, but there are bound to be many more announced as each episode will be a stand-alone story. This series could feature new or established characters, so it will be interesting to see what former cast members will reappear in The Walking Dead universe.
Sadly, The Walking Dead is ending, but the fandom will live on with Fear the Walking Dead, Tales of the Walking Dead, Isle of the Dead, the movies, and the Carol and Daryl spinoff. So much to look forward to.
