The Walking Dead series keeps everyone’s focus on that series with all of its spin-off news. But, Fear the Walking Dead fans are curious to know when they can watch the new episodes of that series.

Fear the Walking Dead aired its season 7 midseason finale on December 5, 2021. This episode set up the second half of the season as an all-out war between Victor Strand (Colman Domingo) and Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey).

Alicia was almost ready to join Strand in his tower to ensure that her people, leftovers from Teddy Maddox’s (John Glover) cult, would have a  safe place to live. Then she saw the reanimated form of Will (Gus Halper) and realized that Strand killed this man, someone Alicia was close to and knew she couldn’t partner with him. She vowed to take what was precious to him, his tower, as she stated, “Then we’re going to war.”

Fear the Walking Dead season 7

The midseason premiere of the seventh season of Fear the Walking Dead will air on AMC on April 17. This episode and the remaining episode for this season will be available one week early to AMC+ subscribers.

It is assumed that the midseason premiere will begin with everyone choosing sides as they go to war. The official trailer for season 7B (below) shows us a few things.

Luciana (Danay Garcia) and June (Jenna Elfman) are with Alicia, which is interesting as June has been living at the Tower. John Dorie Sr. (Keith Carradine) is with Strand’s right-hand man Howard (Omid Abtahi).

Dwight (Austin Amelio), Sherry (Christine Evangelista) and Sarah (Mo Collins) appear to be on the side of Alicia as they look to be with some of her people. We also see Wendell (Daryl Mitchell), Daniel (Rubén Blades), June, and others with a member of Alicia’s group at what appears to be outside the Tower.

Morgan (Lennie James), Wes (Colby Hollman) and Charlie (Alexa Nisenson) are also featured, but it is difficult to see where they are.

It will be an actioned pack back half of the series, and at some point, Madison (Kim Dickens) will make her return. It is exciting to speculate on how she will be reintroduced and hear about where she has been all this time.
