Fear the Walking Dead season 7 episode 9 release date and synopsis

We are closing in on one month until Fear the Walking Dead’s season 7 midseason premiere airs on AMC. When we last left the series, Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) had declared war on Strand (Colman Domingo). Things are about to get very interesting and exciting in this series.

The midseason finale revealed that Alicia had lost her arm after being bit by a walker. She chopped off her arm to stop the spread of the infection, but she felt she was too late, and the infection is still in her body. She has been fighting something because she continues to be feverish.

The back half of season 7 will also see the return of fan-favorite Madison Clark (Kim Dickens). This has genuinely excited the fandom, as many fans were certain she didn’t die back in season 4.

Fear the Walking Dead season 7 episode 9 release date

“Follow Me” is the ninth episode of season 7 and will release on AMC on April 17, 2022, at 9 p.m. ET. This episode and the tenth episode, “Mourning Cloak,” will be available on AMC+ on April 17.

This episode is written by Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg and directed by Heather Cappiello.

The synopsis reads:

"Alicia takes refuge in the home of a mysterious stranger. With her fevers growing worse and Arno pursuing her at every turn, Alicia is forced to confront the failings of her past and how she will face her future."

One question viewers had is answered in the synopsis, Arno will still be a threat. It was uncertain if he would be one of those characters who never gets mentioned again, but obviously not. This will add to Alicia’s concerns as she is up against Strand and Arno’s groups and still fights the infection she fears will turn her into one of the undead.

Who will the mysterious stranger be? Will this person lead Alicia to her reunion with her mother?
