Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 Part 2 trailer featuring Madison

Fans of Fear the Walking Dead are counting down to the day that season 7, part 2, will premiere. AMC will air the first episode of part 2, “Follow Me,” on April 17 at 9 p.m. ET. On that same day, AMC+ will air the first two episodes of the second half of the season. Until then, fans will have to be satisfied with a new trailer that has just been released that is action-packed and features a familiar face.

Of course, we are talking about Madison Clark (Kim Dickens), as this character will return in this part of the season. She looks shaken as she takes a hit of oxygen and talks to a voice over the intercom. The voice asks her name, but when she responds, the voice tells her from now on, they will tell her who she is. Who are these people?

It is exciting to know we will learn where she has been for so long. It is hard to imagine what would keep her from her children and the others. She will be met with the sad news of Nick’s death, which will be tough on her, for sure.

Fear the Walking Dead season 7 part 2

The trailer for the 2nd part of the season shows Alicia as she is still battling the fevers that she believes are from the walker bite that caused her to lose her arm. Although she cut the limb off, she thinks she didn’t get it in time, and the infection is inside her.

She is still searching for the mysterious PADRE that is supposed to contain instructions on how to rebuild the world after a catastrophe. And she is at war with Strand.

The synopsis for the second half of season 7 reads:

"In the second half of Season 7, months have passed after the nuclear blast, and the only one thriving is Victor. Having built a fiefdom, he callously selects who will have a chance at life. The other members of the group have suffered immensely, but out of that has come a fierce determination to live, even if it means taking Strand’s Tower by force and continuing the search for Padre, a mythical place no one is sure really exists."

We get to see many of our favorites in the trailer, but everyone seems to be in the midst of battle. Each one will have to choose sides in the war between Alicia and Strand, with most of them likely siding with Alicia.

Other tidbits from the trailer:

• We see a cool clip of Alicia hiding in a piano as someone slowly plucks the keys. Who is this?
• Alicia is having fever dreams or something.
• Arno is still a threat in this part of the season, as we see in several clips.
• Those gnarly walkers are so cool.
• Several new faces.
• Why does Strand have baby Morgan?
• Charlie looks to be trapped.
• Lots of kills, hopefully only bad guys.

The new key art features Strand, Alicia and Morgan.

We are in for a wild ride for the second half of season 7.
