The Walking Dead The Lucky Ones

If You Don’t TRUST The Person You’re Dealing With, Maybe You SHOULDN’T Make Deals With Them.

At the end of this week’s episode of The Walking Dead, Maggie chose not to make a deal with the Commonwealth, partially owing to the fact that she didn’t completely trust them.

This was an intelligent decision.

Now, it wasn’t an easy decision, but, as we know from the flash-forward, Maggie will ultimately be proven correct in not trusting the Commonwealth, and therefore, it makes it the right decision.

This should be real simple. Would you make a deal with someone you don’t trust right now? I highly doubt it. So, why would you make a deal with a group of people you don’t trust in a zombie apocalypse, where death can come so much easier? You wouldn’t.

If something about people you’re making a deal with doesn’t sit well with you, if you find yourself questioning the other party’s intent or motives or tactics, then maybe you shouldn’t be making deals with them. If you do make a deal with them even after this, and discover it was a bad deal, you got no one to blame but yourself.
