The Walking Dead – The Lucky Ones

1) This week’s “Previously on The Walking Dead” is voiced by Lauren Cohan. Focusing on Eugene introducing Alexandria to the Commonwealth, Governor Milton tells Lance Hornsby they need to meet with Alexandria (With Hornsby saying he had a pitch). We also saw Carol and Tomichi discussing Ezekiel’s chances of surviving his cancer, Eugene learning “Stephanie’s” true identity and learning who the real Stephanie is.

2) In “New Haunts,” two episodes ago, while Sebastian was preparing his weapons training, we saw Governor Milton walk by, looking at him with obvious disapproval. At the beginning of this episode, her scene with Max explains why: Pamela is and has been aware of how much of a jerk Sebastian is and wants him to shape up.

3) During her conversation with Max, Governor Milton also mentions how she wants the bank to cut off his funds. I would be surprised if this doesn’t become an issue between them later this season.

4) As Pamela begins her tour of Alexandria, Mercer asks Daryl what he did before the outbreak, to which Daryl replies, “Didn’t matter. Not to us, anyway.” This is a nice little reminder of the stark difference in social hierarchy between Alexandria (And Rick’s group in general) and the Commonwealth.
