Where the Crawdads Sing trailer starring two Walking Dead universe actors

Walking Dead universe actors Garret Dillahunt and Jayson Warner Smith star in a new film, Where the Crawdads Sing, set to release in July 2022.
Garret Dillahunt, who portrayed the soft-spoken and often hilarious John Dorie on Fear the Walking Dead in seasons 4-6, has been a busy guy since leaving the series. We saw him in the Netflix original film Army of the Dead, and one of his new projects, Ambulance, will release in April 2022.
Jayson Warner Smith played the Savior named Gavin in seasons 7 and 8. Gavin was a high-ranking Savior under Negan’s leadership and was one of four outpost leaders. He has been very busy since leaving the series, and one role he most recently played was in the Netflix original series Outer Banks.
Where the Crawdads Sing release date
Sony Pictures will release this film on July 15, 2022.
Where The Crawdads Sing synopsis
Where the Crawdads Sing is a film based on the novel by Delia Owens, directed by Olivia Newman. The story follows Kya, a young girl who was abandoned at a young age and had to learn to survive on her own. A kind young man Tate Walker teaches her to read and write but leaves for college, leaving her alone once again.
She meets a handsome quarterback Chase Andrews and they start a relationship. When Chase is found murdered, Kya is the main suspect, and she will be at the center of the murder trial of this young man.
