The Walking Dead series has continuously aired its episodes on AMC on Sunday nights. The first episode aired on Halloween night, October 31, 2010, with the pilot episode titled “Days Gone Bye.” This episode opened by introducing viewers to Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), who is no longer on the series, but fans consider him the leader of the main group of the survivors featured in the story.
The series is currently in its eleventh and final season of the series. It is projected that by the end of 2022, The Walking Dead series will have aired its last episode.
The fandom will live on via the spinoff series, including Fear the Walking Dead, which will premiere the second half of its seventh season on April 17, and Tales of the Walking Dead which will premiere in the Summer of 2022. Two spinoffs are scheduled for 2023, Isle of the Dead, starring Negan and Maggie, and the untitled Daryl and Carol series. A Fear the Walking Dead spinoff special called Dead in the Water will air on April 17.
New Walking Dead episode?
The AMC schedule for the remaining episodes in season 11B is as follows:
“The Rotten Core” March 27, 2022
“Trust” April 3, 2022
“Acts of God” April 10, 2022
Each of these episodes will air at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
AMC+ subscribers will be able to view these episodes one week early.
Viewers will most likely see a massive cliffhanger at the end of the episode titled “God,” which will lead into part three, which will be the final eight episodes of the series.
The final eight episodes don’t have a release date yet, but if it follows last year’s schedule, we could see episode 17 in August 2022.
