Christine Evangelista is known as Sherry in The Walking Dead universe. She is one of three characters who have crossed over from The Walking Dead to the spinoff series, Fear the Walking Dead.

Sherry was one of Negan’s (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) wives while he was the leader of the Saviors on The Walking Dead. Her real husband Dwight (Austin Amelio) was a member of the Saviors, and because of the power, Negan welded couldn’t say anything about the arrangement for fear of being killed. He had already had his face melted with an iron, which was bad enough.

When Sherry made her escape, Dwight wanted to follow. Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) told him to leave and never return, which he did. So, both characters crossed over to Fear TWD, along with Morgan Jones (Lennie James). It took quite some time, but Sherry and Dwight were reunited and are now living in a world altered by nuclear fallout from a detonated bomb.

Season 7B will return to AMC on April 17 with a war between Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and Victor Strand (Colman Domingo), and the other characters will be choosing sides.

Christine Evangelista travels to Columbia

Evangelista shared on Instagram that she recently traveled to a remote village in Columbia with the Give Power Foundation. She and the group she traveled with worked alongside the residents there to install solar panels that provide energy to the local kitchen run by the women in the village.

By installing the panels, the kitchen now has refrigeration and freezing capabilities, whereas before, they had none. This gives them a way to preserve the fish they catch for a more extended period, and they can make ice and coconut oil more effectively and sell both products.

You can see her post below and the video clip of her time at the village.  If you check out her IG, you can see a couple of other posts of her trip, including a video of how to make some Columbian hot sauce that she says is amazing.

You can head over to the Give Power Foundation’s website to see what their program is all about and you can donate if you would like.
