Tales of the Walking Dead filming final episode of season 1

On the same day that The Walking Dead will wrap filming for the series, the spinoff series Tales of the Walking Dead is filming for the sixth and final episode of its first season. Showrunner Channing Powell posted “one last time with feeling” on her IG page.
Tales of the Walking Dead is one of several Walking Dead spinoff series in the works. This one is scheduled to release in the summer of 2022 and will be an anthology series.
The final episode of the series is being directed by Michael Satrazemis, who also directed two other episodes in this season. He has previously directed for The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead. Other directors for this series include Deborah Kampmeier and Tara Nicole Weyr.
Tales of the Walking Dead
Previously there had been reports that there could be an Alpha-centric episode of Tales of the Walking Dead. Recently Samantha Morton, who portrayed Alpha in The Walking Dead series, posted a video on IG of her driving on a highway heading into Atlanta, Georiga. She could be filming something else, but maybe we will see Alpha again.
Editors Note: Since publishing this article, it has been announced that Morton will reprise her role as Alpha in an episode of Tales of the Walking Dead.
