The Walking Dead series wrapped filming for the final episode at the end of March. With this sad news comes good news for many of our fantastic Walking Dead cast members. Many have already announced new projects, including our dear Seth Gilliam, who portrays Father Gabriel. He has announced he will be returning to Teen Wolf.

Gilliam previously starred in the Teen Wolf series as Dr. Alan Deaton, a veterinarian at Beacon Hills Animal clinic and a druid. The Druids, which means “Wise Oak” in Gaelic, serve as advisors and healers as well as a link between the supernatural and human worlds.

Teen Wolf: The Movie will air on Paramount+ and see many of the series cast returns.

The Walking Dead – Father Gabriel

In the final season of The Walking Dead, viewers see a very different version of Father Gabriel. It seems that both Aaron (Ross Marquand) and Gabriel were drastically affected since meeting Mays (Robert Patrick) in season 10c. It was a difficult encounter, and since that time, both men see the world differently.

Gabriel chose to join the others who were relocated to the Commonwealth. This was most likely because Rosita also decided to do this, and he wanted to be close to her and Coco. He has been seen preaching again at a church located in the Commonwealth, so sometime during these mini-time jumps, he has found his religion once again.

In the episode titled “Warlords,” he is asked by Aaron to join him in a mission to reach out to a new group known as Riverbend. When the plan is laid out to Gabriel and Aaron by Toby Carlson, one of Lance Hornsby’s lackeys, Gabriel wastes no time telling him that his plan is crap and he doesn’t want to be involved. This would prove smart when Carlson’s true nature was revealed, and he started killing everyone. This situation would reveal more of the evil ways of some members of the Commonwealth and result in Carlson and all of his men being killed.

Now Gabriel, Aaron and Daryl, who are supposed to be on the side of the Commonwealth against Maggie, Riverbend and Hilltop, find themselves in between these groups where a war is brewing. What is next for Gabriel and the others? The midseason finale airs this Sunday, April 10, and viewers will find out more.
