The Walking Dead Acts of God

Don’t leave loose ends.

You might wonder what this has to do with trying to control things around you in a zombie apocalypse. On the surface, you do have the ability to control loose ends. You could finish whatever the loose end is and go about your business, which is what I’m saying you should do.

But, the reason I’m talking about this is, once you leave something undone, whatever happens afterward is, for the most part, out of your control.

Take Leah, for example. After making a point of killing off the remaining Reapers, Maggie failed to finish the job with Leah, just leaving her to her fate. This was a bad idea.

As we’ve learned over the last two episodes, Leah survived and came back with a vengeance. She returned to exact revenge on Maggie for going back on their agreement and killing the last of her team.

When you leave things unfinished in a zombie apocalypse, you run the risk of whatever it is doing God knows what while you’re away, including (If it’s an active threat), coming back to make your life miserable or far shorter than you anticipated.
