11) When Alicia tells him that the walkers have an echo of memory, Morgan is quick to shoot down the idea, saying that believing that is what got his son killed (revealed in The Walking Dead’s season three episode, “Clear”). This is the first Alicia has heard of this detail of Morgan’s past. Interestingly, in the first episode of The Walking Dead, this did appear to be accurate, as Morgan’s wife, Jenny’s, walker seemed to make a habit of approaching the house they’d been staying in. This is the first time this phenomenon has been addressed since then.

12) As the episode progresses, we learn that Alicia has made a prosthetic arm for herself using her arm bones). This is the first time anyone in the Walking Dead universe has used their own limb to make a prosthesis.

13) We also learn that, somehow, Teddy’s cult knew Strand had interfered in Morgan’s attempt to stop the nuclear launch. How? It’s not like Teddy, Dakota, or Riley had reached the rest of the cult to tell them. Did Rollie tell them? When?

14) During Will’s discussion with Alicia after her coma, we finally learn what got him exiled from the bunker. This was due to him sparing Alicia after she got a fever following her arm amputation. This was something we never got an explanation for during Will’s previous appearance in this season’s first episode, “The Beacon.”

15) Alicia does not retrieve Griselda’s St. Christopher medallion after finding it on Will and declaring war on Strand,
