Corrective Measures trailer featuring Michael Rooker

The new action sci-fi Tubi original film, Corrective Measures, stars Walking Dead alum Michael Rooker alongside Bruce Willis. Corrective Measures was written, produced, and directed by Sean O’Reilly in his live-action feature film debut. The movie is based on the same-titled graphic novel created by Grant Chastain distributed by O’Reilly’s Arcana Studio.

The story takes place at an Ubermax prison, San Tiburon, hidden in the Great Northwest. This institution houses monsters, cyborgs, and supervillains fitted with 24-hour power inhibitors and shock collars. Rooker portrays Warden Devlin, a man as corrupt as the prisoners he oversees. His main objective is to obtain the fortune acquired by the most notorious prisoner housed in his prison, Julius “The Lobe” Lobe (Willis). The Lobe, a super genius, isn’t keen on parting with his money.

In a prison where tensions between prisoners and staff are already heightened, the arrival of newcomers, Payback, a murderous vigilante set on revenge, and Diego Diaz, a man sentenced on trumped-up charges, adds to the chaos. Order is then turned upside down when “The Conductor” sends shocks throughout the prison system.

Micheal Rooker – upcoming projects

Rooker is a busy man with several new films in the works. He will star in the action-comedy The Out-Law, and another action thriller with Bruce Willis, White Elephant. 

You will also see him in a biography, Yolo County OG, based on the life of Fire Captain Paul “Hollywood” Fullerton turned cannabis entrepreneur, with Cole Hauser.

He will play The Misfit in A Good Man Is Hard to Find, which is based on a short story by Flannery O’Connor.
