Nic and Norman’s Lexington location now open
By Renee Hansen
The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus and Greg Nicotero have wrapped filming for the final season of the series, but their co-owned side venture, Nic and Norman’s restaurant, is still going strong. What started with a single location in Senoia, Georgia, the heart of TWD, has grown to three locations, with Lexington, Kentucky as the newest.
On April 20, the official Instagram page for the Lexington location posted that they are open for business beginning at 4 p.m. Currently, this location will only be opened for dinner until further notice.
The third location is reported to be co-owned by Walking Dead comic creator Robert Kirkman, a Cynthiana, Kentucky native.
Nic and Norman’s restaurant
Nic and Norman’s Lexington is located at 135 W. Main St. and was previously the location of West Main Crafting, which closed last year. The site was renovated and will feature a live music Nashville- style stage.
If you’ve been to the Senoia or Chatanooga locations, you know they are all similar but have their own unique qualities and Southern-American style menus. Although the Lexington location is currently only serving dinner, they will eventually serve lunch and dinner seven days a week, complete with a full bar and a kid’s menu. They teased a photo of their pickle fries on their IG page and they look fantastic.
Each location has merch available to purchase so you can take home a memento of your visit. If you cannot visit, you can purchase N and N merch via the website.
Even though The Walking Dead series is ending, Reedus, Nicotero, and Kirkman will remain active within the fandom. With several spinoffs and, hopefully, movies coming, TWD fandom is far from over.
