This week’s Walking Dead universe news (April 22, 2022)

As always, a lot is going on in The Walking Dead universe during the past week and the upcoming weekend. AMC will air the next episode in season 7 of Fear the Walking Dead, “Mourning Cloak,” on Sunday, April 24 at 9 p.m. ET. With AMC+ releasing the following episode, “Ofelia,” on that same day.

This Sunday’s episode titled “Mourning Cloak” is the third episode directed by Lennie James, who plays Morgan Jones. Viewers will see Charlie’s (Alexa Nisenson) arrival at Strand’s (Colman Domingo) Tower because she wants to live there. Is this her only reason, or does she have an ulterior motive? Howard (Omid Abtahi) sends a young ranger, Ali (Ashton Arbab), to accompany Charlie on a mission to find out what she is really up to.

Fans are anxiously awaiting the return of Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) in the back half of this season.

The Walking Dead news

• Norman Reedus and Greg Nicotero’s third Nic and Norman’s location in Lexington, Kentucky,
• has officially opened.

• The Integrity of Joseph Chambers, a film starring Walking Dead actors Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Michael Raymond-James, will see its premiere at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival.
• Corrective Measures, a new film starring Walking Dead alum Michael Rooker has released its official trailer. The movie will release on Tubi on April 29.
• The Walking Dead anthology spin-off Tales of the Walking Dead has wrapped filming for its first season. This series is scheduled to release this summer. A quick teaser has been released for this series.

• Talking Dead will be on hiatus until the season 7 finale of Fear the Walking Dead, which airs on June 5, 2022. Guests for that episode will be Kim Dickens, Alycia Debnam-Carey and Executive Producer, Andrew Chambliss.
• Walking Dead actors Vincent M Ward and Lew Temple have a new podcast, It Takes Two with Vincent and Lew.
