10) Paul is the eighth named character to die this season and the first of this half-season.
11) Throughout this episode, Alicia wears Griselda’s St. Christopher medallion. She must have taken it after declaring war on Strand at the end of the midseason finale, “PADRE,” because she didn’t take it before. I know because I specifically made a note about it.
12) When we see Alicia talking to Morgan about her dream about PADRE, it’s interesting that she mentions Nick, who’s primarily gone unmentioned since his death in season four.
13) At the end of the episode, Sage and Arno discover a massive herd of walkers trapped in the crater left behind by the warhead. Arno worries about them escaping, but judging by how steep the wall of the crater is, that seems unlikely (even though it’s clear from the “Episode Insider” that that will happen by season’s end).
