Fear The Walking Dead, Mourning Cloak: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
Fear the Walking Dead Charlie and Ali
10) As Charlie recounts to Ali her run-in with the walkers on the top floor, they pass by a dead walker with a stripe of yellow paint on its right arm. Where did it pick up fresh paint?
11) While working on the elevator, Charlie confesses to Ali that she was sent to infiltrate the Tower at Morgan’s behest. This isn’t surprising, considering that her role for her original group, the Vultures, was very much the same.
12) After Ali walks away from the elevator, we cut to the view inside the elevator from Charlie’s perspective, where she sees the irradiated walkers reaching their hands between the doors, very much like the walkers inside the hospital cafeteria Rick saw in the very first episode of The Walking Dead, “Days Gone Bye.”
13) Ali is the tenth named character to die this season and the second in this episode.
14) How come Ali didn’t get radiation poisoning? Both Garcia and Charlie did. Was it something inside the building they retrieved the elevator parts from? Was it the irradiated walkers? Ali was exposed to both, yet, he didn’t get sick. Was it because Charlie and Garcia had been out too long in the wasteland and just picked up too much radiation in their travels?
