Fear the Walking Dead: Aisha Tyler cast in The Last Thing He Told Me

Aisha Tyler has served as an actress and director on Fear the Walking Dead. Her character Mickey appeared in the Lennie James directed episode, “Till Death,” and although she has been mentioned in other episodes, it isn’t clear if her character will appear again. Deadline reports that Tyler has been cast in the Apple TV limited series The Last Thing He Told Me.
Tyler has directed two episodes in the limited spinoff series The Walking Dead World Beyond and the episode titled “J.D.” in Fear the Walking Dead, which introduced John Dorie Sr., played by the talented Keith Carradine. She has also directed an episode for the final season of The Walking Dead. It hasn’t been revealed which episode she directed, but it will air during season 11C this fall.
She has made substantial contributions to the fandom, which have resulted in outstanding episodes.
Aisha Tyler – The Last Thing He Told Me
Aisha Tyler has secured a lead role in the limited series The Last Thing He Told Me, and she will play Jules, the best friend to Jennifer Garner’s Hannah.
This series is based on a book by Laura Dave of the same title. It is the story of Hannah, who, while searching for why her husband (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) has mysteriously disappeared, forms an unexpected relationship with her 16-year-old stepdaughter Bailey (Angourie Rice).
Produced by Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, Dave, and Josh Singer will serve as co-creators in the adaptation of this novel. The series will be directed by Olivia Newman and executive produced by Lauren Neustadter, Witherspoon, Dave, Singer, and Newman.
Tyler is a multi-talented actress, director, comedian, talk show host, and author. She has hosted Talk Soup and The Talk, for which she was awarded an Emmy. She is known for her roles in The Boys presents: Diabolical, Archer, Ghost Whisperer, 24, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and more. She has also starred in Criminal Minds, where she has also directed.
She has also written her memoir Self-Inflicted Wounds: Heartwarming Tales of Epic Humiliation.
