13) When Daniel sees Arno’s attempt to get information out of Wes by threatening him with walkers, he tells Arno he’ll never get anything doing that. Having been an interrogator during the civil war, Daniel would know how to make people talk, making his judgment of Arno’s methods none too surprising.
14) Sage is the eleventh named character to die this season.
15) As we return from commercial following Daniel going to look for Arno, we see Sage’s corpse in the lower right corner of the shot, a wound in his left temple, meaning that either Luciana or Wes put him down in the interim.
16) When Daniel sneaks up on Arno, he says “Boo,” the same thing Arno said to him, Luciana, and Wes when he snuck up on them at the beginning of the episode.
17) Arno is the twelfth named character to die this season.
18) As he dies, Arno laments that “…There is no new beginning,” suggesting that, up to that point, he still believed in Teddy Maddox’s teachings.
