Fear the Walking Dead: Dead in the Water now available on YouTube

The Walking Dead universe has many spinoffs and web series to tell additional stories. The recent Fear the Walking Dead spinoff web series Dead in the Water was an origin story of the USS Pennsylvania submarine and its crew, first seen in season 6 of Fear TWD.
Dead in the Water features Nick Stahl, who reprises his role as Riley, one of cult lead Teddy Maddox’s followers and also a crewman aboard the USS Pennsylvania. Riley had recently learned he had become a father but had yet to see his son.
It seems like a zombie series set on a submarine might not be very interesting because you have to imagine the fate of the majority of those on board, but Dead in the Water is a great show. There have been questions about how the virus got on board the sub when they have been underwater for so long, but we must remember what Dr. Jenner told Rick Grimes at the CDC, we are all infected. There was no timeline given as to when everyone became infected.

Dead in the Water was released on April 10 exclusively to subscribers on AMC+. Now, AMC has released the series for others to watch for free on YouTube.

Dead in the Water was written by Jacob Pinion and directed by Kenneth Requa. Pinion has been on the writing team for Fear the Walking Dead and wrote the tie-in web series The Althea Tapes. Requa has produced Fear TWD and The Walking Dead.
