The seventh season of Fear the Walking Dead has only four episodes remaining. Things are about to get heated in the war for the Tower as each character decides whose side they will fight on. The Tower is a sanctuary that can provide safe living conditions for many, but Alicia has declared war on Strand, making living together impossible.

During the midseason finale for season 7, Alicia was just about to take Strand up on his offer to bring her people to the Tower and live in harmony. That was before she found out he killed her friend Will to hurt her. She realized he would never change and vowed to take the one thing that was dear to him, his Tower.

Strand is proud of the community he has built, as many have tried to accomplish this and failed. He feels it proves to them all that he is the better man. Since Morgan tried to poison him, Strand has become increasingly paranoid to the point that he second-guessed his right-hand man Howard and had him thrown off the Tower roof.

Fear the Walking Dead season 8

Fans have been anxiously waiting to hear when filming for the eighth season will begin. According to @theDebnamNews, Production Weekly has published that filming will start in June 2022 through March 2023 in Savannah, Georgia.

In April, co-showrunner Andrew Chambliss told Decider, “We are in the planning stages of season 8 now, so of course, given our move, the story is being constructed with that in mind in terms of the locations we’re writing to. You’ll see this is further down in Season 7, but the end of Season 7 was written with the move in mind. So the narrative is geared towards the change of location as well.”

Fear the Walking Dead is no stranger to changing filming locations as filming began in Los Angeles, then moved to Vancouver, Baja, and Austin before moving to Savannah for season 8.

Significant changes are ahead for season 8 as Kim Dickens will also return as a series regular in her role as Madison Clark. She will make her reappearance in at least one of the remaining four episodes in season 7.

Fear the Walking Dead returns to AMC this Sunday with a new episode.
