Fear the Walking Dead season 7 episode 14 release date
By Renee Hansen
The seventh season of Fear the Walking Dead is quickly moving towards the final episode of this season. With four episodes remaining, the war for the Tower has yet to commence. In last week’s episode, “Sonny Boy,” John Dorie Sr. (Keith Carradine) sacrificed himself to remove baby Mo from the Tower to the safety of Morgan’s (Lennie James) care.
Throughout last week’s episode, Strand continued with his paranoid thoughts, which have him second-guessing everyone in the Tower, including Howard, who has always been loyal to him. When Mo comes up missing and several residents are discovered in possession of unapproved walkie-talkies, his paranoia grows. But, the worst was when a walkie was found among Howard’s possessions.
Viewers would learn that Dorie Sr. planted this for Strand to question Howard’s loyalty allowing him to step in and talk some sense into Strand about how he is running things. Dorie Sr. ended up throwing Howard off the roof of the Tower to prove his loyalty to Strand. But, he would regret this and then end the hero by turning his back on Strand and taking his bargaining chip, baby Mo back to Morgan, an act that would end in his demise.
June and Grace were responsible for Mo coming up missing and had planned to get her out of the Tower. Strand is now using them as his way to keep Morgan and the others away by threatening to kill them if Morgan returns.
AMC will air the next episode, “The Raft,” on Sunday, May 15, at 9 p.m.
The synopsis for this episode:
"Morgan and Alicia plan their next steps. Dwight and Sherry face the prospect of having to choose between their code and their safety."
Fear the Walking Dead season 7 episode 14
The next episode in season 7B is titled “Divine Providence” and will premiere on AMC+ on Sunday, May 15. This episode will air on AMC on Sunday, May 22, at 9 p.m. ET.
“Divine Providence” was written by Alex Delyle & David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and directed by Ed Ornelas. Delyle and Johnson-McGoldrick wrote several Fear TWD episodes and co-wrote the recent “Ofelia.” Johnson-McGoldrick has also written for The Walking Dead, beginning in season two with the episode “Chupacabra.” This episode marks the directorial debut for Ornelas in The Walking Dead universe; previously, he has worked on Grey’s Anatomy, Jane the Virgin and many others.
The synopsis for this episode:
"As the battle for the Tower heats up, Alicia brings the fight to Strand’s front door."
Perhaps this episode will finally see the battle begin. Many viewers have been displeased that the midseason premiere didn’t kick off with the war in full swing. Hopefully, things will progress in the final episodes of season 7.
