Sydney Park plays Cyndie, a member of the Oceanside community, in The Walking Dead series. Since before the season 10 bonus episodes, her character had been MIA. It isn’t clear if her character will be seen again before the final episode of the series airs. Park has done many memorable roles during her career, and now she is starring in a new movie, “First Love.”

The movie is directed and written by AJ Edwards, known for Age Out and The Better Angels. “First Love”  is a romantic drama from Voltage Pictures that follows Jim (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) and Ann (Park), two high school students experiencing their first loves and heartbreaks. This storyline contrasts Jim’s parents, played by fellow Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus’ finance, Diane Kruger and Jeffrey Donavan, as they experience financial hardships in their relationship.

“First Love” is scheduled to release on June 17, 2022.

The Walking Dead – Sydney Park

Park began her role as Cyndie on The Walking Dead in season 7. She lived in a community called Oceanside, where her grandmother Natania (Deborah May) was once the leader. Cyndie became the leader for a time, but her current whereabouts are unknown. This is true for others from the Oceanside community.

In the season 11 midseason finale, the fate of Oceanside was in the hands of Lance Hornsby (Josh Hamilton), the Dep. Governor of the Commonwealth. He was last seen flipping a coin to determine the fate of the people who live there.

In October 2021, Park starred in the Netflix movie, There’s Someone Inside Your House. This horror film sees the killer target high school students and exposes their deepest secrets.

She is also known for her roles in Moxie, DMZ, Dead Reckoning, Wireless, Pretty Little Liars, and voiced characters in the animated Spirit Riding Free series.

Another new project Park will star in is the Showtime series Coercion.

"“Coercion is based on Rebecca Bender’s personal story of entrapment in the world of sex trafficking, her escape and her stunning emergence as a relentless force against that world,”"

Congrats to Sydney Park on her new roles, and we wish her continued success.
