The Walking Dead’s Steve Coulter stars in She-Hulk series
By Renee Hansen
It’s been a minute since we’ve seen Steve Coulter in The Walking Dead series. He portrayed Reg Monroe during season 5. He was an interesting character that would have made for more good storylines, but his death served a purpose. Coulter has starred in many memorable roles during his career, and now he will star in the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney+ Marvel series.
She-Hulk is the last major character co-created by the late Stan Lee. Jennifer Walters, an attorney, is She-Hulk, a cousin to Bruce Banner, aka The Hulk, who Mark Ruffalo plays in the MCU. Walters obtained her powers when she received an emergency blood transfusion from Banner. Unlike Banner/Hulk, she can keep her intelligence and personality when she Hulks out.
The series is directed by Kat Coiro (Marry Me) and written by Jessica Gao (Rick & Morty) and will begin airing on Disney+ on August 17.
In addition to Coulter, the cast consists of Tatiana Maslany in the titular role, Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth, Benedict Wong, Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Renée Elise Goldsberry and Jon Bass.
Coulter plays a character named Halloway, and you can see a clip of him in the trailer.
Walking Dead alum Steve Coulter’s other roles
Coulter’s Reg Monroe was a resident of Alexandria and used his skills as a professor of architecture to build the wall around the community. He was married to Deanna, a former Ohio Congresswoman and leader of Alexandria.
He is well known for his role as Father Gordon in The Conjuring series of films and recently starred in the mega-popular Yellowstone series. Other roles he is known for include, P-Valley, The Act, The Purge, The 15:17 to Paris, Manhunt, House of Cards, Brockmire, Banshee and many more.
Coulter has several new projects in the works, including a comedy called El Tonto, a Netflix movie, We Have a Ghost, Shotgun Wedding, and Hangdog.
It looks like we will be seeing a lot of Steve Coulter soon. If you are in the Atlanta area on Memorial Day weekend, check out The Camp, as Coulter will be a featured guest at this event.
