Fear the Walking Dead’s season 7B hasn’t been what viewers had hoped, and with only two episodes remaining, it probably won’t end where they would like. Episode 715, “Amina,” is finally available on AMC+ a day later than scheduled for many subscribers. The early reviews for the penultimate episode are negative, and fans are curious about when the season 7 finale airs.

Season 7B began airing in April with a slow start featuring several character-centric episodes that highlighted one character and introduced a new character who would be dead by the end of the episode. Fans have greatly disliked this format as the hopes were the second half of the season would begin with an all-out battle royale for the Tower.

Character development is important, but with the right timing, and this wasn’t it.

Fear the Walking Dead season 7 finale

Fear the Walking Dead’s season 7 finale episode is titled “Gone” and will air on AMC on June 5, followed by the first episode of Talking Dead since April 17. This episode will release one week early on May 29 for AMC+ subscribers and will finally see the reappearance of fan-favorite Madison Clark (Kim Dickens).

The back half of this season promised a war for the Tower but instead saw heavy losses, not in battle, Morgan and Mo leaving, Dwight and Sherry expecting a child, and the Tower, the haven everyone was fighting over, being caught on fire.

Perhaps the season finale will show something amazing, giving viewers hope for season eight. The upcoming season will begin filming in Georgia instead of Texas, which will most likely see a location change in the story’s setting. This is probably why Morgan has gone off in search of someplace new.

Morgan and Madison have never met, so it will be exciting to see how these two get on. They have very different personalities and ways of handling things in this world. Maybe this series can get back some of what used to make it great with her return and a new location.
