Katelyn Nacon is known in The Walking Dead universe for her role as Enid on the flagship series from seasons 5-9. Initially, Enid lived in Alexandria and eventually moved to Hilltop, where she became a medical trainee under Siddiq (Avi Nash) and, years later, the doctor at Hilltop. She was one of Alpha’s (Samantha Morton) pike victims in season 9. Next, Nacon will star in a new movie titled Linoleum.

The movie Linoleum saw its premiere at SXSW Film Festival in March 2022 to favorable reviews and won the San Francisco Film Festival’s Sloan Science on Screen Award. Directed and written by Colin West (Double Walker), the film also stars Jim Gaffigan, Rhea Seehorn, Gabriel Rush, Tony Shalhoub, Michael Ian Black, Amy Hargreaves, Jay Walker and West Duchovny.

Gaffigan plays Cameron Edwin, the host of a failing children’s science show called Above & Beyond. When a mysterious satellite lands in his backyard, his dreams of being an astronaut are reignited, and he attempts to build a rocket from the fallen machine. The midlife crisis he is experiencing causes much strife in the relationships with his wife Erin (Seehorn) and daughter, Nora (Nacon). When unexplained events follow, such as a car falling from the sky, a doppelgänger moving in next door and a friendship with an unusual teen boy, he realizes there is more to his story than he ever imagined.

Linoleum will see a theatrical release, but no date has been set.
