Fear the Walking Dead season 7 episode 16 release date
By Renee Hansen
Fear the Walking Dead’s season 7B flew by quickly. The second half of this season featured many character-centric episodes, quickly ended the battle for the Tower, and moved on. What will the final two episodes bring? Viewers will learn soon enough.
Last week’s episode “Divine Providence” left viewers with mixed feelings. On the one hand, it did honor the season 1 characters, Strand, Alicia, and Daniel, but the whole Wes turning villain storyline was weak.
Alicia and her army come to Strand’s front door, and he invites her in to talk over a drink. Daniel, believing Ofelia is a captive inside the Tower, follows. During their talk, Wes is visibly displeased about the whole thing and easily takes over leadership of the Tower and the Rangers, who have been very loyal to Strand until this point. Daniel, finally remembering that Ofelia is dead, decides to be at Charlie’s side when her end comes, something he was unable to do for his daughter.
AMC will air the next episode, “Amina,” on Sunday, May 29, at 9 p.m.
The synopsis for this episode:
"As the survivors prepare to escape the area by raft, Alicia turns back to save one more person trapped in the fallout."
Fear the Walking Dead season 7 episode 16
The final episode in season 7B is titled “Gone” and will premiere on AMC+ on Sunday, May 29. This episode will air on AMC on Sunday, June 5, at 9 p.m. ET. and will be followed by the first episode of Talking Dead since the season 7 premiere in April.
This is the sixteenth episode of season 7, and it was written by showrunners Andrew Chambliss & Ian Goldberg and directed by Sharat Raju. Chambliss and Goldberg have been showrunners since season 4 and, during that time, have written numerous episodes of the series. Raju has directed episodes of The Walking Dead and World Beyond, and this is his fourth episode of Fear the Walking Dead.
“Gone” synopsis: Morgan finds a new ally who turns out to be more trouble than he bargained for.
This episode will end season 7 and marks Madison’s return. What does this mean for the storyline? Several characters were killed off in season 7, will Madison return with more people?
Will Madison be this ally? If so, what trouble will she cause Morgan?
