1) This episode’s “Previously” focuses on Morgan and Alicia finding the warhead crater devoid of walkers (From “The Raft”). Luciana tells Daniel that Ofelia’s alive and in the tower (From “Ofelia”). Dwight asks Wes if he really cares about protecting Strand, with Wes replying that he cares about surviving and Morgan taking Mo away in a raft (Both from “The Raft”).

2) This episode gets its name from Strand’s response to hearing that Alicia came to the tower looking for him, the first line of the episode: Divine Providence.

3) As Alicia enters the tower, for the first time this season, she actually looks relatively healthy, without heavy dark bags under her eyes.

4) Strand and Alicia’s discussion of the St. Christopher medallion and their history with it is the first time Strand and Alicia have discussed Strand giving it to her since at least episode 607, “Damage From The Inside.”
