Fear the Walking Dead season 7 episode 14

5) This episode’s title sequence features a silhouette of Wes, with the tower behind him, the irradiated herd approaching it, and the beacon lit, on a blue background, with the title card’s edges burning, and the regular theme playing.

6) When Strand and Alicia attempt to recruit Daniel to help them ascend the tower, Daniel insists that Strand is lying. This is reinforced for him by a flashback to his brief partnership with Strand in searching for Ofelia at the Rosarito Beach Hotel in episode 305, “Burning In Water, Drowning In Flame.” In that episode, he would discover Strand was lying to him about Ofelia’s whereabouts. Whether that flashback had confused Daniel about his situation (Which it suggests it might) is unclear.

7) Later in the episode, Daniel looks at the tower’s roster and finds Ofelia’s name not on it. Strand and Alicia remind him of Ofelia’s fate in Mexico. Daniel has flashbacks of her death in episode 314, “El Matadero.” This is her first appearance, in flashback form, since that episode.

8) In the infirmary, Strand uses a shot of adrenaline to get Alicia out of her sluggish state brought on by her fever. This suggests that Alicia’s relatively healthy appearance near the beginning of the episode may have stemmed from the adrenaline her body may have produced as she rallied the group to march on the tower.
