9) As he ascends the tower, using smoke grenades to mask his movements, Strand tells Alicia, “This isn’t my first time walking into the unknown,” referencing his march into the fog outside of the lighthouse to search for Alicia back in the season premiere episode, “The Beacon.”
10) Wes is the fifteenth named character to die this season.
11) With Wes’ death, of all the named characters Morgan’s group rescued in season five, only Rabbi Kessner and Grace are still with the group.
12) What happened to all the civilians Strand had inside the tower? We can assume that most of the rangers were killed in the ascent of the Tower or dealing with the irradiated herd, but what about the civilians? The farmers, Juliana, and Kat, what happened to them? Did they go with the group to the beach? Did they scatter?
