Fear the Walking Dead – Amina

The point of it all is to survive.

I think it’s important that  I lay out a very simple truth: The whole point of everything I do with this series is to help all of you to survive a zombie apocalypse. Every warning, suggestion, and rule is designed to ensure that, should a zombie apocalypse ever happen, you will be better equipped to survive it.

Similarly, everything you do in a zombie apocalypse should be in service of that goal and ensure that there are people who will carry on populating the Earth afterward, so when the dead finally decompose, there will be living people to take it all back.

This is why you can’t give up in the apocalypse because it is antithetical to our very existence. We are on this Earth to live on it and ensure that others live on it after us, not just throwing our lives away. The human race has survived near extinction events in our history before, and should an apocalypse happen; we’ll get past that, too.
