This article has been updated as needed as season 7B has aired.

Fear the Walking Dead will soon premiere season 7B and take over the 9 p.m. ET slot on AMC. The second half of season 7 is sure to be exciting as Strand (Colman Domingo) and Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) go to war.

Another exciting event for this part of the season is the return of fan-favorite Madison Clark (Kim Dickens). Madison is Alicia’s mom, and she has been a good friend of Strand’s. How will she fit the divide between two very important people to her? She will also return to the news of her son’s death by Charlie (Alexa Nisenson), who is still a member of the group. Will viewers get an explanation of where she has been all this time?

The trailer for the second half of this season is action-packed. Alicia is still battling the fevers that plague her since the walker bite. It appears that Wes (Colby Hollman) has joined Strand’s side of things. And we see Madison at the very end of the video.

**After the airing of this episode, it was revealed that this episode would make the last for actress Alycia Debnam-Carey who has portrayed Alicia Clark since season 1 of the series. She didn’t die, so there is always room for a return but her social media post didn’t leave a lot of hope for that.

This series will be severely altered with the absence of Alicia who has been a staple of the series. She endured much hardship and loss but has continued to press on.

716 Gone – June 5, 2022

Morgan finds a new ally who turns out to be more trouble than he bargained for.

It has been speculated that Madison will appear in 715 “Amina,” as that was a pet name her children gave to a baby bird when they were younger. This was something discussed back in the midseason finale of season four, “No One’s Gone,” when Al interviewed Madison, and she didn’t want to give her name. Al named the tape Amina after the bird from her story.

After the airing of “Amina,”  it was revealed that Dickens will return in episode 716 “Gone” which is the season 7 finale. In the teaser for the episode, it appears that Madison will aid Morgan and baby Mo who encounter a new group who are threatening him and possibly kidnapping Mo.
