Walking Dead universe actor Daniel Roebuck featured in Munsters’ teaser

The Walking Dead universe’s arm reaches long and far to include several series, games, web series, and more. This makes for a vast array of actors who are part of TWD Family. One of those actors is featured front and center in Rob Zombie’s The Munsters teaser. Daniel Roebuck, who stars in The Walking Dead: Cold Storage web series, portrays Grandpa Munster in Zombie’s reboot of this franchise.

Cold Storage is just one of several web series mini-episodes featuring a brief storyline, often linking to characters from one of the main series. Cold Storage takes place in a self-storage location that follows Chase, who is trying to locate his sister soon after the outbreak. He encounters BJ (Roebuck), a former employee at the facility, and discovers things aren’t what they appear.

Events in this series took place before season 1 of The Walking Dead but aired during the second season of that series.

Daniel Roebuck – The Munsters

The reboot of the 1960s tv sitcom, The Munsters, is written and directed by Rob Zombie. The majority of Zombie’s movies are R-rated, so many were wondering how he would reimagine this family-friendly series. He was quick to inform everyone via Instagram, “for those of you speculating, wondering and assuming that The Munsters would be dirty, violent and nasty, well, you are wrong. It’s all good down on Mockingbird Lane,” with a photo stating the movie will be rated PG.

The Munsters sneak peek teaser

Below is the latest promo for the film, which features Roebuck as Grandpa, Zombie’s wife Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster, and Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster.

The sneak peek is an excellent look at what to expect from the film that will see a simultaneous theatrical and streaming release exclusively on Peacock sometime this year. It will be interesting to see The Munster family in color as the original was always in black and white.

Zombie has gone all out for the production of this movie by recreating the entire Mockingbird Lane Mansion and neighboring houses in Hungary. As a lifelong fan of the series, Zombie worked for 20 years to be able to create this film.
