The latest season of Fear The Walking Dead was unique: Most of its villains were, at one time, its heroes. But, which of them was the worst?

Looking back, season 6 of Fear The Walking Dead was loaded with villains, most of whom were pretty terrible, from crazed cult leaders, to fledgling sociopaths; I think they were the worst assortment of villains the show had seen yet.

This season seemed to go in the opposite direction. While there were nearly as many villains this season as there were in the previous season, most of what I’ve categorized as “villains” this season were, at one time or another, members of our main group of protagonists.

We’ve seen the odd member go sour in Fear TWD before, but this is the first time I can recall that three protagonists had gone heel in the same season. Because of this, it makes determining who the worst villain of the season is much more difficult because, knowing these characters so well, we know that they had reasons for their actions and didn’t just decide to go bad on a whim.

I will attempt to go in chronological order for most of these entries. Still, because of the phenomena of three protagonists being heel this season, I have to devote the final half of this discussion to those three and try to analyze them in more detail.
