Fear the Walking Dead season 8

The series’s eighth season will see Madison (Kim Dickens) return as a series regular. She returned during the season 7 finale episode, and it was discovered that she was working for the mysterious PADRE. She has been tasked with stealing children and bringing them to members of this group. Initially, she did this with the understanding that PADRE would aid her in finding her children. But, after a time, she was appalled at her actions and couldn’t face her children.

Her first meeting with Morgan Jones (Lennie James) was when she took his child, Mo, and handed her off to the collector from PADRE. By the end of the episode, she offered to help Morgan get Mo back, and the pair were being boated away to an unknown location while blindfolded. The last scene showed a much larger boat waiting for them, making viewers wonder just how far away PADRE is.

Showrunners have promised the next season will be the most significant reinvention the series has ever had. The change in filming location will be reflected in the storyline and centered around the water. This season will see a deeper dive into the philosophies of PADRE, why they take the children and what happens to them after.
