Artist Kirk Manley creates poster for Living with the Walking Dead exhibit
By Renee Hansen
Earlier this year, AMC and the Museum of the Moving Image (MoMI) announced the Walking Dead exhibit Living with the Walking Dead. This exhibit will feature an in-depth look into The Walking Dead world, including the series and comic created by Robert Kirkman.
The exhibit will run from June 25, 2022, to January 1, 2023, with ticket sales open now. Tickets range from $14–$20 (free or discounted for MoMI members). Each ticket includes timed-entry admission to the special exhibition, plus access to all Museum galleries.
Fans of The Walking Dead universe know that it is deserving of something of this magnitude to show the world how amazing it is. As one of the world’s most-watched shows in cable TV history, its impact on pop culture, and the fact the series is coming to an end this year, it is a perfect time and atmosphere to pay homage to this series.
The exhibit will feature many items of interest, including costumes, action figures, scripts, storyboards, and a wealth of prosthetic makeup used to transform cast members into vividly realized undead walkers and much more.

MoMI announced another addition to the already exciting event. Artist Kirk Manley, who many people in TWDU fandom know, has created an exclusive exhibition poster for the event. Manley will attend the opening day event and sign posters available for purchase in the MoMI shop. The Twitter announcement below features a photo of the amazingly detailed poster.
If you can, be sure to get to this exhibit, as it will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for fans of TWDU. It will be especially touching with The Walking Dead series airing its final episodes this fall.
